I have been blessed in so many ways by my marriage to Terry in 1984. God added two daughters, Melissa and Christina. Melissa is married to Lucas, and live in Texas. They have one daughter, named Paislee, who her Pop thinks is pretty sweet, and two sons, Maverick and Thatcher. Christina is married to Cody, and they live in the Kansas City area. They have two sons, Owen and Everett. Any time I get to spend with my wife and family is a win!
Pastoring First Baptist Church of Mound City has been one of my great thrills in life. Since 1994 Terry and I have found the congregation to be eager to serve, ready to connect, and enthusiastic about studying the scriptures. For some reason Terry and I took up running about 10 years ago. About an hour later we are usually glad we did it. I get a kick out of many things in life including sports, reading history, motorcycle rides, and traveling.
I grew up in Fort Scott. After moving to serve in Texas in 2003 and then in Missouri in 2011, I started serving at FBC in August of 2022. My wife Brittany and I were married in Texas in 2009. God blessed us with Luke (2013) Ethan (2016) and Hannah (2019).
I enjoy playing and listening to music, doing just about anything outdoors and playing with the kids. I became a believer when I was 9, began feeling the call to ministry in high school and a pastor took me under his wing in college where I started to grow. I am passionate about music, teaching music, seeing the lost come to faith, to see believers grow in their faith, and I love to hear a church family play and sing to our Savior!
I am a Husband, Father, and Student pastor. I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist university with a degree in Student Ministry and have been serving at FBC since January of 2015. I married Shauna Goff who has a degree in Counseling from Oklahoma Baptist University in January, 2011. We have added to our family since then, Asher (2013) and Emma (2014).
I enjoy fishing, sports, competing in anything, running, and watching football. I have been a believer since 12 years old and was called to ministry in my junior year of high school. My passions as a Student pastor are to drive students to take their faith serious and become mature believers who have a passion for God and the Local Church and to assist parents in the spiritual growth of their students.
I am a child of the King, Father, Husband, Mentor, and Friend (hopefully). I grew up in West Michigan, graduated from Grace College with degrees in Youth Ministry & Counseling. I met and married my wonderful wife, Andi, while in college. We got married after college in May of 2010, and added Ariel Joy in September of 2014 and Jude Alan in May of 2016, and Ezekiel (Zeke) James in July of 2018.
I love adventure, the outdoors, pretty much any sport, doing obstacle runs, and snowboarding. I am passionate about discipleship and equipping and encouraging believers to make their lives count. I believe the local church is the hope of the world. I want to be a part of that hope.
I am a Colorado native, but have lived in Southeast Kansas since 1999, shortly after getting married. My husband, Brad, and I have one child, Brevin, who is amusing & amazing!
I enjoy spending time outdoors, taking road trips, bargain hunting and learning new creative skills. I have worked with pre-school age children since 1993 in some form or another and completely love the joy and energy that comes from children of that age.
I am a city girl who collided with the country when we moved to Linn County in September of 2016. I was given a fortunate opportunity to become a part of the staff in October of 2017. I have been married to my husband Bobby since 1994. The following year we added to our story, a son Josiah. We currently share our home with our three labradoodles.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, riding my motorcycle, thrift shopping and working in my yard. The BIGGEST deal in my life is being a King’s Kid-a daughter to the best Father! Life constantly brings change and I am wholeheartedly attempting to live life with grit, tenacity, endurance and hope.
